Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Account data — email address and password hash (managed by Supabase Auth), plus your favorites, price alerts, reviews, and chat history with the assistant.
• Consent records — the version and timestamp of the research-use terms you accepted.
• Outbound-click analytics — when you click out to a vendor we record the vendor, target URL, browser user-agent, referring page, and a one-way hash of your IP address. We do not store raw IP addresses for clicks.

What we don't do

• We do not sell or rent personal data.
• We do not process payments and never see payment details.
• We do not use third-party advertising trackers.

Why we process data

To operate the comparison service (accounts, alerts, favorites), to measure which vendors receive traffic (affiliate accounting), to prevent abuse, and to meet compliance obligations (age/research-use consent records).

Retention & your rights

Account data is kept while your account exists; deleting your account removes your favorites, alerts, chats, and reviews-in-moderation. Depending on your jurisdiction (e.g. GDPR/CCPA) you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your data — use the report form to make a request.

Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies only: your session (if signed in), your theme preference, and your consent acknowledgment. No cross-site tracking cookies.

Processors

Hosting by Vercel; database and authentication by Supabase; AI assistant requests processed by Anthropic. Each receives only what is necessary to provide its function.
